Maxima STANDARD complex care coverage (CZ + Schengen)
- Total limit CZK 2.0 M CZK (in case of a possible change of the exchange rate of €, the insurer guarantees to provide a minimum cover in the amount of € 80 000), per incident 1.5 M CZK, repatriation expenses limit is 400.000 CZK, a total limit of dental treatment is CZK 5.000.

Maxima does not insure newborns and children under 1 year, and pregnant women must use the PREMIUM 'Complex Care' insurance (min. payment 12 months) instead of the standard 'Complex Care' insurance and must pass a medical entry examination.

PVZP is supported in the most hospitals in Czech Republic, because is the the commercial branch of VZP. VZP is the public health care organisation and by far the largest provider of health insurance in Czech Republic. |

PVZP standard complex care coverage (CZ + Schengen)
- Total limit CZK 1.6 M CZK, per incident 1.2 M CZK, repatriation expenses limit is 1.2 M CZK, a total limit of dental treatment is CZK 5.000.
- Insurer pays for ambulant perscribed medicines, in case of costs over 100 CZK per prescription (max. 5000 CZK for the duration of the insurance)
** NEWBORNS, PREGNANCY, BIRTH
Women must pass a medical entry examination, and pay for the entire 12 months in advance.
The newborn is covered during the first few days in hospital and for vaccinations, but must have a separate insurance afterwards. However, if one of the parents has PVZP (min. 6 months), there is a 20% discount for the child's insurance.
PVZP discounts:
Students, 18 - 26 years, get 20% discount (see also student complex care insurance),
min. payment 6 months + proof of study required(not older than 30 days)
Children, 0 - 5 years, get 20% discount,
min. payment 6 months AND the parent has PVZP still valid for min. 6 months
