In Czech Republic not all hospitals, clinics, dentists and doctors support all health insurance companies. This means that if a insurance company is supported, you will not have to pay during the visit (because they will handle the medical costs for you).
If the insurance company is not supported, medical treatment will be provided, but you will have to pay at the medical facility and reclaim the costs at the insurance company, which will reimburse the costs to you later.
